This policy explains how EnglishPro handles your personal data when you contact me or use this website.

Who is responsible for your data

What data I collect

• When you email or call me: your name, contact details, and anything you choose to tell me.
• When you send me your result from the English level test: your name, email address, optional message, and your test result (level, score, and which questions you missed).
• My hosting provider keeps standard technical server logs, such as IP addresses, for security. The website doesn’t use analytics or advertising cookies.

Why I use it

Only to reply to you, answer your questions, and discuss lessons or other services you asked about. I don’t send newsletters or marketing emails, and I never sell your data or share it with anyone for their own purposes.

Legal basis

Your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the level test form, and steps you ask me to take before we agree on a service (Article 6(1)(a) and (b) of the GDPR).

Where your data goes

Level test results are sent straight to my email inbox (Google Gmail) and aren’t stored in the website’s database. The website is hosted by DreamHost. These providers may process data outside the European Union.

How long I keep it

For as long as we’re in contact or working together, and no longer than two years after our last contact, unless the law requires me to keep it longer (for example, on invoices).

Your rights

You can ask me to access, correct, or delete your data, to restrict or object to how I use it, or to send you a copy. You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing me. You also have the right to file a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (ÚOOÚ, www.uoou.cz).
